Mario Valencia was my friend. I think he made friends with everyone he met.

He loved the Lord Jesus, his beautiful wife Suela, his amazing little children, Steve and Megan, and his family and friends in El Salvador, Albania and Florida.


On January 10, 2020, Mario passed away unexpectedly in his sleep, due to a brief illness and ongoing heart conditions.

He was just 46.

How sweet to know he is with the Savior, and that Jesus will take care of his wife and children.

And how honored to be part of the Body of Christ to be able to give of our resources to help Suela and her small children.

Mario is from El Salvador. He met Suela in the USA and they were married in our church in Shkodra, Albania, in one of the most beautiful Christian weddings our city has seen (in my opinion). Mario stayed in Albania one year serving in our youth ministries.


Mario and Suela moved to Miami to be near his family, but recently moved to Orlando and are still making that transition.

Suela currently teaches preschool at Altamonte Christian School.

I set up this GoFundMe page because funeral expenses are very expensive. The average costs are approximately $15,000.

Suela will be facing great financial difficulties as a single mother of two. Can we act quickly to help her meet this unexpected expense?
