Help Marabai Fight Lyme Disease!

Hello, friends and fellow Marabai lovers. If you're here, it's probably because Marabai has touched your life in one of her many powerful, beautiful ways. Whether through her work supporting people through trauma in her role as a therapist; in the memoir she recently penned, Holding Hope; with her impactful podcast Badass; with her gift of music; perhaps you are a member of the community of folks impacted by Lyme disease whom she has supported and advocated for; maybe you're just lucky enough to call this beautiful soul a friend or a member of your family. Whatever your reason, thank you for being here.

As you may know, Marabai is currently suffering a Lyme relapse. The disease flared up again on September 24, and has made daily life challenging and exhausting. She has been unable to work, and the loss of her income as well as increased medical expenses mean that she and her family need our help.

She has found a Lyme-literate provider in Zionsville as well as a Lyme-literate neurologist in Kirkland, Indiana. She is grateful for the path of healing she hopes is opening up...and unfortunately, both of these providers are out of her insurance network- so she is paying out of pocket for their care. In addition, she is facing laboratory fees as she must now undergo additional testing in order to figure out the next steps.

Funds raised will support Marabai, her partner Alex, and her two children with household and medical expenses. Marabai wants you to know how incredibly grateful she is that she has a community that holds her, that she can count on. Many people have supported the family by signing up for the meal train; it has been a huge help, and your words of encouragement and love mean a lot.
