Our dear sweet friend Mara Scherbarth, an MGIC employee for 23 years, is on leave and focusing on her family and brain cancer.
Mara had brain surgery this past December to remove an Astrocytoma tumor and is now undergoing 23 weeks of chemo and radiation to fight this very aggressive brain cancer. Mara’s day-to-day challenge is her impaired vision, but her faith remains strong.
Mara has been a true friend to so many of us and even more importantly she is a caring wife, mother, sister, grandmother and daughter. She loves to spend time with her grandkids. She alway has the biggest smile when she talks about her sons wedding coming up at the end of 2019.
Mara has paid it forward as an active member of her church and we now have the opportunity to help Mara....
Most importantly. Please pray fervently for Mara and her family.
Mara's husband Mike has taken an amazing step in supporting Mara; He has resigned from his job to be her caregiver. Please take a step in supporting Mara by contributing to her go fund me. All proceeds go directly to Mara for her medical expenses.
