Help Bipolar UK Save More Lives!

Hello there!
My name is Luyando, and I'm raising funds for Bipolar UK. As someone who lives with Bipolar Disorder, I know firsthand the challenges that come with this often misunderstood illness. That's why I'm supporting the only UK national charity that provides support to people living with Bipolar Disorder and those who are affected by it.

Breaking the Stigma of Mental ill health
Through Bipolar UK's work, I have received valuable support and have been able to break free from the shame and stigma surrounding this condition. Your donations can help ensure that others receive the same kind of support.
I was only able to recognize, accept, and treat my condition after a serious manic episode and hospitalization in 2014. I tell all in detail here in my Youtube video below:

Although I received excellent support during my hospitalization, I didn't receive any follow-up guidance on living with this diagnosis. That's why I turned to Bipolar UK, where I've found a real sense of community and trusted guidance on my mental health recovery journey.

Bipolar UK's Important Role
Bipolar Disorder is a severe and lifelong mental health condition that can lead to delusional thinking and psychosis during the highs and suicidal thoughts during the lows. Unfortunately, someone with Bipolar Disorder is 20 times more likely to take their own life than someone without the condition. At least 1/20 of all people who take their own life in the UK have a Bipolar Disorder diagnosis.

This is why the work of Bipolar UK is so important. As the only dedicated national charity supporting those affected by Bipolar Disorder, they reach over 389,000 people annually in the UK. They offer peer support through in-person and online group meetings, call-back and email support, and a moderated eCommunity.

Bipolar UK aims to increase its reach to over 1 million people estimated to be living with Bipolar Disorder in the UK, as well as many more who are affected through family and friends. Your help through increased funding can make this possible.

Thank you in advance for your support of this cause that means so much to me.
