Malahide's Magical Winter Ball 2023

The Malahide's Magical Winter Ball 2023 will be a charitable event in aid of the Join Our Boys Trust. The event will take place on Friday, 1st December in the Grand Hotel in Malahide and the hope is to raise as much money for the cause as possible.

The Join Our Boys Trust was founded in 2014 in support of Paula and Padraic Naughton's 3 sons -Archie, George and Isaac - who were all diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is a progressive neuromuscular disease that destroys muscle tissue. It is a fatal disease with no treatment or cure. DMD primarily affects boys, with diagnosis usually made between the ages of 3 and 7.

This event is especially dedicated in memory of Archie Naughton who passed away on July 7th 2022 at the age of 16. Archie's dying wish was to find a cure for DMD for his two younger brothers. Any donation given, no matter the size, will go a long way towards meeting the evolving and complex needs of Isaac and George, whilst contributing to crucial research into treatment and eventually a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
