Make Learning Possible - Help a Family in Need
As most of you may know I am adopted from Ecuador. Over the recent years I have reconnected with my mother and her family. I have come to know that I have 4 younger half siblings. They are Anderson (11), Mariela (9), Jhostin (7) and Maykel (5). With Covid restrictions slowly lifting, my siblings were given the opportunity to go to school in person. Unfortunately my mother does not have enough money to pay for their tuition, uniforms, or school supplies.
My mother Digna can barely afford to even pay rent. Her ex husband won't give her a single penny for the kids, as he has started a new family and has made them priority. My mother will go out for hours on end to find a job but mostly comes back with nothing. She has told me many times she has been scammed and has walked hours to a job site with it ending with no one being there. My hope is to be able to raise enough money for her to support my siblings, find a job safely and keep a roof over the family's head.
My main priority is that my siblings get the education they need and that they don't end up being kicked out or on the streets which has happened before. I want my siblings to stay together and to have a childhood that they deserve. The oldest, Anderson, dreams of becoming a police officer so he can protect and serve. Mariela says that she wants to become a doctor so she can keep everyone healthy. She also wants to learn self defense to be able to protect not only herself but her younger siblings as well. As far as I know Jhostin and Maykel are still interested in playing with toys.
So I am asking you, Please help me in supporting my family and to one day, hopefully, I will be reunited with them again. The rent so far is $105 a month with my mother being 2 months behind and to send all four children to school is about $1000. I will be doing my part to try and support them each week but I can't do it without your help. Even $5 makes a huge impact on their lives. I made the goal a little more than $1210 which is what they need, in order to give them a little extra for food and rent. My hope is that once the goal is reached my mother will be have a job and that the money can go into saving and support my siblings academically.

if you were unable to read what the text said in the cover photo, it is my mother worrying that she cannot feed my siblings as at the time she only had an egg and a pound of rice. This was only 2 weeks ago.
