Make beautiful memories for Delilah’s Little Boy
Donation protected
Hi my name is Yvonne and I’m fundraising for Delilah who's been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer so that her little boy has some lovely memories of their times together.
You can read a bit more about Delilah here.

Jake’s mummy was 26 when she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer that had spread so much that the horrified doctors were unsure where it had originated.
She was treated for bowel cancer with some success but that chemotherapy soon stopped working and while both Clatterbridge and Christie Hospitals in North West England are doing everything that they can, Delilah is using all of her strength to stay positive and make memories with her four year old son.
There is the possibility of some private cancer treatment but that would cost hundreds of thousands. At the moment she is at the start of a new chemo course in the hope that it stops things from becoming worse and she is battling with its side effects, tiredness and periods of intense pain. Because she is unable to work fulltime she is not entitled to have Jake's nursery paid for fulltime anymore which is where he is able to play with his friends and get into practice for school in September.
Delilah's former colleagues at The Ship Inn, Haskayne, thought so much of her that the management arranged a fundraiser day to enable Delilah and Jake to make memories together. This lead to people who cannot attend asking how to donate.
Delilah is a really kind and sensitive person who always puts others before herself and this is why this gofundme has taken months to organise - she likes to be the one doing the giving and it has taken some persuasion to allow her friends to ask for help with her rising bills and some of those special times that families usually have decades to enjoy together.
Delilah is also hoping to find a house near her mum so that she can stay as independent as possible with Jake's Nana close by. That is difficult as Delilah grew up in a town in which most rented accommodation is given to students and prices are really high.
We would love Delilah and Jake to live as a family and enjoy a holiday and other fun times together before they run out of time.
