Mahmoud Family in GAZA

Donazione protetta
Words from Mahmoud:
"I am Mahmoud Fathi Al-Minawi "Surur." I live in Gaza. I am 37 years old, married, and have seven children.
My wife Mai, My children Sarah, Lulu, Fouad, Mariam, Fathy, Mohamed, and Sham

I had a daughter named Naseem who was martyred in the previous war in 2014 when she was one year old.
My wish is not to lose another child from my family, I was also injured in this war on October 15, 2024, in my head and both feet. I suffer from a concussion in both hands due to the injury. There are still shrapnel in my knee. I need a delicate operation to remove the shrapnel.

I was displaced from my home several times, the first time was in Khan Yunis, then Rafah, and then Nuseirat.

Then we returned to Gaza after suffering and a very difficult life. I had an evening dress center called Wedding Center, which was the only source of income for me, my family, my father and my mother, and I used to give charity to the poor. But now the occupation has destroyed

Life was ruined, the future was destroyed, and we became scattered without a future.
I'm trying to get back up but things are getting worse because of the ongoing war.

My goal now is to get my children and I to a safe place outside this country so that we can live in security and stability."

My name is Isaac Villavicencio, I am originally from Mexico. I met Mahmoud from a donation campaign in Instagram. His story touched me because I felt identified with him, a normal person, trying to make his way on this life, supporting his family with what he can. I talked to him, I met him and his lovely family via videocall, and since then he has shared his journey through this genocide.

I have witnessed this family’s distress firsthand. One night during the bombardment, he told me that they were all huddled in a corner of their destroyed house, hoping that if they were hit, they could die together. No one deserves to endure that. No one deserves famine. They are hardworking people with no connection to the parties at war, yet they are being subjected to collective punishment.

The situation is dire and worsening. They eat only one meal a day and receive water just one day a week. Recently, the Israeli army has forbidden aid supplies, so food and medicine prices have skyrocketed. Even when UN aid arrives, it is scarce and often hoarded by opportunistic thieves who resell the goods. Therefore, the most effective way to help Mahmoud’s family is through direct donations that can alleviate famine and provide essential medical supplies.

Due to the recent attacks by the U.S. government to the people supporting the war victims, I asked my longtime friend Nadia in Mexico to host this campaign and route the donations to our broker in Gaza. Feel free to contact us at any time—we will gladly provide proof of every transfer, as we are committed to complete transparency.

Every penny matters. Thanks for your help.
