Loving Father Battles Cancer

Hello everyone, I'm starting this fundraiser on behalf of Orlando Faria. For those of you who know Orlando, you can testify to what an amazing man he is. His main focus in life has always been his family and being the strong role model, provider and protector that he is. Over the past 18 years, he's been serving the nation in the Army, while also serving as a law enforcement officer. Orlando and his wife, Liz, have built a beautiful family together and have been living happily in Middletown, NJ.

 

Orlando was recently diagnosed with throat cancer. He underwent surgery a few weeks ago and is a few weeks into radiation therapy. As some of you may know, this process is extremely hard on the individual, especially when it is focused on the throat which makes it difficult to eat and swallow. The process also takes a great toll on the family who have to battle this disease together.

 

Orlando has been fighting this cancer head on and hasn't lost his sense of humor or his positive outlook on life throughout this difficult period. At this time, the medical bills are beginning to accumilate, and he is unable to work in his current condition. We would like to give Orlando the opportunity to recover from cancer and continue his radiation therapy without the burden of worrying about the medical expenses.

 

We are asking for donations to help with the rising medical bills and give Orlando and his family a little peace of mind. We will continue to pray for him and his family during this extremely difficult time. We thank you all for your time and contributions. God bless you all.
