Love and Prayers for Cheyenne!

In August of 2019, I met Wesley Buckley. He is a personable, smart, hard-working young man who has one of the biggest hearts I have ever known. And as his supervisor, I can attest that he is the employee that every manager dreams of. But I also have come to know and love his energetic and adorable wife, Cheyenne. To talk to them for just a little while, you learn two things. First, they are two of the most positive people you probably have ever known, and second, they love each other more than anything. On August 1, 2020, Wesley and Cheyenne were married and began their life together. Shortly after, they bought their first house.

What I haven’t told you is that Cheyenne has a rare disease called Li-Fraumeni Syndrome. It is a genetic mutation that puts people at a higher risk for cancer. Today, Cheyenne is in the hospital taking an intense round of chemotherapy in an effort to shrink a tumor so an operation can take place. This is her third battle with cancer. She is only 29 years old. Together they are staying positive that this plan by the doctors will prove once again that they are strong together and determined to win this war. This GoFundMe page is meant to help them in their battle, to help with mounting everyday expenses and to let them know that they have the support of family, friends, and community.
