Loss of a Daughter and Mother

It is with a heavy heart that I write this…
On Monday, May 18, 2020 an incredibly special person to many people, tragically passed away. Maria Johnson was the daughter of my sister in law Barbara (Barbie) Johnson and stepdaughter to my brother, Jeff Lesack. Maria leaves behind lots of family and friends who loved her deeply, but none more than her 3-year-old son, Carter. I cannot begin to imagine the pain and the path ahead for everyone who was close to her and this family. Please keep them in your prayers.
These are trying times for all people in this world due to the current pandemic, so it makes it that much harder to ask for help. If there is any way you can support this family during their time of need, it would be greatly appreciated. Barb, as next of kin has unfortunately been placed in the position of taking care of Maria’s estate, including funeral expenses.
My hope is that we can come together and raise enough money to offset the entire expense of saying goodbye to Maria. I am also hopeful that we can raise some funds to support Carter’s education and other unforeseen needs he may have. I will be posting this to my Facebook account and hoping that you will share it to yours as well.
