Hi, my name is Aoife and I am cutting my hair to donate, raise awareness and funds for breast cancer. I will be donating to two different charities; a charity in Ireland, my home country and in France my second home.

1 in 8 women globally are diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Unfortunately cancer touches nearly every home and we all know someone who's life has been affected or changed by cancer.

That's why I have chosen to join the fight against cancer and I will be donating my hair for wigs and raising money - because every strand and euro counts in helping women with cancer this Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

I will be donating my hair to 'Fake Hair Don't Care', a french based charity, that makes wigs for people fighting cancer.

I will also be donating to Breast Cancer Ireland, an Irish based charity, that family members who have been affected by cancer are contributing to today.
