Livie Strong!
Donazione protetta
Please help support sweet Livie and the Danielson family!
We are asking for support for this amazing family to help with medical bills, unpaid work days, gas to and from the hospital and all other expenses.
Livie’s mama, Stacy, shares:
“Livie had heart surgery on March 14th to repair her complete atrioventricular septal defect (AVSD). The surgery seemed to be successful with only “trace” leakage from the right valve. Livie was a rockstar during recovery, and she was released from the hospital on March 22nd.

Big sisters, Lucy and Layla, were over the moon excited to have their baby sister home from the hospital. The first night home Ryan and I noticed a change in Livie’s breathing and that she was highly uncomfortable. We called the hospital and questioned going back, but the cardiologist we talked to reassured us that Livie was probably adjusting to her new heart and the new setting of being home. Livie continued to struggle throughout the week: barely eating, throwing up, and being inconsolable. Ryan and I continued to call the hospital, getting no real answers.
On March 28th, Livie had a follow-up appointment, and was admitted into the hospital for pulmonary hypertension with the right side of her heart leaking too much. Doctors were hopeful they could treat the pulmonary hypertension with oxygen and meds.
The following day, Livie had another echo that showed, not only the right side of her heart leaking, but now the left as well. Doctors are now thinking that stitches may have come loose.
Livie will be having a second heart surgery, most likely, at the beginning of the week next week. Ryan and I have been taking turns going home at night to be with Lucy and Layla. One of us sleeps in the room with Livie every night to make sure she gets the care that she deserves.”
