PLEASE HELP Little Thay's First Steps: A Mother's Hope

Dear Friends,

My name is Vanessa, and I’m reaching out today on behalf of my organization, Nakholwa Serviços, which is dedicated to inclusion and empowering those in need. But beyond the organization, I’m also a mother, and today I come as an individual asking for your help.

I recently learned about a young boy named Thay, who lives in Mozambique and has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Thay is a brave child, full of hope, and with the right specialized treatment, he has the chance to take his first steps. His mother, who dreams of seeing her son walk and become more independent, is committed to finding the best care for him.

To make this dream a reality, Thay needs intensive physical therapy and medical follow-up in India. However, the family is still short of 319,000.00 MT (approximately $5,145.00), which is the remaining amount needed to cover the costs of this essential treatment.

As a mother myself, and inspired by my own journey of supporting a child with cerebral palsy while working as a principal in a preeschool in Mozambique, I know firsthand how critical it is for children like Thay to get the support they deserve. I firmly believe that together, we can make a difference in his life.

With Thay’s mother’s blessing, I’m setting up a GoFundMe campaign to help raise the funds needed for his treatment. Any contribution, no matter the size, will bring Thay one step closer to achieving his dream of independence.
