Let me introduce you to Little Liam….

Aka: Our little warrior.

For my birthday this year, I’m asking that you take a minute to read Liam’s story and if you find it in your heart… help us get enough money together to start a fund that can help him and his family for the rest of his life~

You see…. Liam was the victim of extreme child abuse. While in foster care, Liam was hurt in ways that are unimaginable to many of us. He was left with wounds and scars all over his little toddler body. Some easily seen and some that are hidden. As you can see in the pictures, one of the long lasting travesties was the fact that this woman left him without any little fingers on his right hand. Something he’ll now endure for the rest of his life.

Now for the good part… Liam was adopted by a beautiful family that we know and love. The Burr family is just plain special. Not only do they have 3 children of their own but they’ve now adopted little Liam, Liam’s younger brother and will be adding to the family very soon with another baby girl. I reached out to the Burr family before making this post~ they are the most HUMBLE, kind hearted, SELFLESS people you will ever meet. I asked for the opportunity to help and they graciously accepted.

Liam DESERVES a prosthetic hand. He’s already undergone 2 surgeries to prep him for a prosthesis… But why should this beautiful family endure all the financial burden when they’ve already given so much.

Liam will need prosthetic after prosthetic as he grows. I’m hoping and praying that together we can create a nest egg large enough for the family to use for the next few years. We all can’t change what was done to him but we can help him in his life long journey of being a warrior, a champion… a survivor.

Together we can make a REAL difference in this young man’s life.
