Support Lilly, LGBTQ Palestinian in Gaza

Lilly is a queer/non-binary Palestinian from North Gaza who has been forcibly displaced over 7 times. We are raising funds to cover: rapidly rising costs for basic necessities and to plan their evacuation route.

The funds raised for Lilly will go towards food, medicine and other necessities while stuck in the North, as well as cover all the various expenses that will be required to move Lilly from their neighborhood towards the South to safety and across the border into Egypt. These costs range from $5,000-$10,000 for the evacuation plan.

"More than 200 days of the horrific war have already passed. I lost almost everything, my loved ones, my comfort zone, my job, my own small business,...and I don't know what else I may lose.

I used to believe in the justice of the western world. Now, I realize that the whole world is blind and careless, and what's so called "international laws and human rights" is all a big lie. However, this will never change who I really am.

I still believe that spreading LOVE is the best thing we can do to live a peaceful life.

I still believe that our purpose in this life, as I always taught my students, is to help others.

I still believe that I can do a lot more to change the world and bring light to the darkness.

I just need a chance to rebuild my life and start over in a safe place; your support will save our souls.

I lost almost everything; I lost my past; I'm losing the moment and I'm afraid of losing my future. This campaign is the only way to raise funds for survival. The money raised will be used for emergency living expenses, preparing a shelter for my rescue cats, evacuation fees and starting over safely.

Who is Trans Asylias?

We are an NYC-based non-profit organization, founded in 2021, with the mission of providing resources for transgender and non-binary asylum seekers to resettle them in safe countries. Our founder, Iman Le Caire, is an Egyptian trans asylee who has dedicated her life to helping our fellow TGNB siblings in need of asylum and relocation support.
