Lila's Surgery and Recovery

My boyfriend and I came across a post on Facebook of a dog that was in need of an emergency rescue with a deadline date of 07/21. The post was for a sweet girl named Lila who had been hit by a car and is in need of emergency surgery as she suffered a fractured right humerus and fractured right tibia and fibula. She is currently being held at Pet Resource Center in Tampa, Florida but they are unable to manage her pain and she is fully sedated right now. With such a short deadline, my boyfriend and I reached out to go forward with adopting Lila. We are scheduled to pick her up tomorrow, 07/21/20 at 10am where she will immediately be transferred to Clearwater Animal Referral and Emergency where she will be taken in for surgery. We have received an estimate from the vet and the low end of the surgery will cost about $7,100 with the higher end being about $7,500.  A deposit is required upfront which will be in the amount of the lower end of the estimate, $7,100. We are reaching out to local rescues who have been suggested to us who sometimes offer medical assistance grants. However, because all of this is so sudden and it hasn't even been 24 hours, we have not been able to establish any type of assistance as of yet. All donations will be going directly towards Lila's surgery and recovery. Anything will help. Thank you in advance.
