Lightning needs new skates

Hello! My name is Lightning (Greece Lightning in full), and I've been playing flat track roller derby since 2022. I starting skating with Rolla Skate Club and Terminal City Roller Derby in Vancouver, and now skate with the Cambridge Rollerbillies in the UK. This year I also had the privilege of skating with Team Greece Roller Derby in the 2025 Roller Derby World Cup in Innsbruck, Austria.

My trusty rookie skates (Ridell R3's for the nerds) have served me well, but sadly have not survived the World Cup. And new skates are horrifically expensive, especially if I want to buy some that are better quality. My 30th birthday was this month (July 7!), so I figured I'd put this fund together in case anyone wanted to pitch in as I replace my (now busted) rookie skates with new ones!
