Make a Pride donation to support my work for LGBTQ spirituality at Q Spirit. You can also sign up to give monthly.
Your contribution brings hope, stands up for artistic and religious freedom, and liberates people to experience the divine in new ways. Please help foster love for all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
Queer religious history is being erased on US government websites, but I am keeping it alive on Q Spirit. “This is exactly why your work matters so deeply,” says donor William Weightman. “You are a keeper of sacred memory, a guardian of queer spirit, and a light for those of us who find holiness in our full, authentic selves. While others try to erase, you reveal. While they silence, you sing. Thank you for honoring all our gender-blessed ancestors. Your voice reminds me that queer history is not just worth preserving—it’s worth celebrating. I’m so grateful for you and Q Spirit.”
I am passionately committed because Q Spirit / Jesus in Love grew out of my own personal journey as a lesbian Christian and retired minister.
As one donor says, “Some of our best resources, that push the edges and make us re-evaluate, do not have a regular source of funding. This one is well worth your donation.”
I launched JesusInLove.org in 2005 to promote LGBTQ spirituality and the arts. Since then it has grown to include Qspirit.net, plus my popular blog and newsletter. The Rainbow Christ Prayer is particularly cherished during Pride season at Q Spirit. I also founded and manage the LGBTQ Saints group.
Readers call Q Spirit inspiring, informative and “always fabulous.” Listen to the voices of readers:
▼“This work is essential and holy in the face of bigotry and intolerance.”
▼“A very well written, well researched and always wonder-filled blog.”
▼“It’s very, very important to reach LGBTQ’s with the love of God, and I don’t know anyone who does that better than you.”
▼“Here is a concrete way to support one of our Queer community’s true prophets and revolutionaries, Kittredge Cherry, who just keeps on summoning us to see and walk with our Queer family members.”
▼“Kittredge Cherry is one of the bravest souls on the planet. No one else anywhere in the world does what she does, finding and promoting Queer Christian visual arts. And no one is more articulate and prepared for this task than she is. For many years she’s braved ferocious fundamentalist reactionaries and secularist scorn. She's doing this for you all by herself, and she needs your help.”
The goal is to equal last year's Pride offering. I revised the goal to include both 2025 and 2026, with $1,534 still needed to match last year as of June 27, 2026.
Q Spirit / Jesus in Love is my individual project, so your gifts to Kittredge Cherry are not tax-deductible.
Thank you for helping me support lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) spirituality and the arts. Happy Pride!
