Hi, I’m Elijah Amoo Addo, a chef, social entrepreneur and someone who believes in using every opportunity to heal and serve society.

Today, I am raising funds for my dear friend Abisola Ibrahim Peculiar, a woman whose dreams and life are hanging by a thread.

Abisola and I grew up together in Lagos after I lost my mother as a teenager. Through school nights and shared dreams on Iyalode Street in Agege Lagos, we promised ourselves that hard work, faith and determination would lead to a bright future. While I pursued a career in culinary arts, Abisola pursued her dream of becoming a microbiologist. She completed her education, her National Service and yet, life dealt her a harsh hand.

For the past six years, Abisola has battled a severe pancreatic condition. Medical bills have drained her family’s savings and exhausted friends’ support. At just 34 years old, her future is uncertain and her dreams, once so full of promise are now in jeopardy.
