If you live in South County, chances are you know Mary Hughes. She has given her heart and soul to so many of our children and neighbors over the years, guiding and mentoring.

Mary has run into to some tough times, however never stopped working to try to get ahead. She needs our help as a community for a down payment on a car so she can safely commute and continue to be an asset to our youth and parents who depend on her.

With the loss of Mary’s mom, we are now her family. Because of her work schedule, she doesn’t have the strength or the time to go through these transitions on her own. Let’s show her how much we love and appreciate her by our generosity. It takes a village, and I don’t believe there is any stronger village than South County.
