Let’s Help Coach Reggie Shaw Fight His Brain Tumor

Reggie Shaw, everyone’s favorite teacher, coach and friend could really use our help. Reggie recently got his dream job of being a high school teacher and the head men’s basketball coach at his alma mater, Bear River High School. 

Reggie had been noticing some concerns with his eyes and his hearing. On Tuesday, he went in for an appointment with an eye doctor who referred him to a eye specialist. The specialist sent him in to get an MRI where the doctors found a tumor on his brain. They immediately admitted him to the University of Utah hospital to monitor the tumor and prep him for brain surgery. Later today, he will undergo brain surgery to have the tumor removed.

Reggie and his wife Britney feel like they are in the best hands at the University of Utah. They are so grateful for the treatment that Reggie has received so far. It’s been the hardest and longest days of their lives but they are extremely grateful for all of the prayers, texts, calls, and messages that they’ve received.

Reggie is one of the most selfless people we know.  He loves Britney and his sweet baby girl Adalynn so much. He is always looking for ways that he can serve others.
