Our hearts are breaking with Alex.
Her beloved father lost a very hard-fought battle with Covid 19 after a long time in the JPS hospital.
The doctors, nurses and staff gave excellent care, but the virus ravaged him and it was not possible to recover. He peacefully went to Heaven while Alex was allowed to finally see him after weeks in ICU.
Please help support her with a contribution to this GoFundMe. 2020 was a challenge and so covering simple funeral costs is proving very difficult.
As a waitress at Mi Cocina (Chapel Hill) and Meso Maya (Hulen), Alex has taken good care of many of us as we dined.
She is truly such a kind and caring person to all and definitely worthy of our efforts to lift and hold her during this heartbreaking time.
