Let's give Paul Harris a hand

Our good friend Paul Harris needs your help. Most of us have known Paul a long time as a good friend and someone you could depend on if you needed a hand. You became a friend of Paul’s as soon as you met him. If it wasn't his smile and personality, he got you with that laugh (insert loud), the ability to drink with you until the sun came up or out argue you about hockey, baseball, basketball and football.
 
Unfortunately, life has thrown Paul a big nasty curveball.
 
If you have seen or talked with Paul in the last year or two, you know that his hip has been deteriorating and giving him a lot of trouble. Now it has gotten serious. Currently, Paul is in a rehab center trying to regain enough strength in his legs so that doctors can perform a hip replacement. It’s a long and slow process.
 
Paul has worked for the Hockey Weekly and for himself for nearly two decades, covering Red Wing and Tiger games for a number of websites and publications. Since Paul has been pretty much immobilized the past couple of months he has not been able to work because of his hip issues. 
 
Fortunately, Paul has health insurance courtesy of the Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare), but he has virtually no income to pay his bills. Given the tough road of surgery and recovery he has before him, Paul is not likely to be back working fulltime for some time.
 
Now is the time to step up and help a friend. Anything you can contribute will be appreciated. Every little bit helps. You can make your donation anonymous, or make it public so that he knows he owes you a beer or drink sometime down the road :).
