Legal fees to fight against abuser

So this is a bit humiliating & ive been putting it off for a long time now. I’ve been fighting a battle against someone who has done terrible things & the lawyer fees are more than i can do on my own. I have trial coming up & i need to send a retainer to my lawyer. I know a lot of people got hit pretty hard with the pandemic & many don’t have extra money so this is a shot in the dark but I’m all out of ideas.
