Legal fees for second inquest For Justice For Yous

Hi everyone today we received the amazing news that we have won at the high court for for a fresh inquest. Yousef was stabbed to death in 2019, his Killer was acquitted of murder & manslaughter that summer. We fought hard for an inquest & this took place in Nov 2021. The coroner concluded the inquest with a "narrative verdict" saying she could not be sure how Yousef came by his death. This result was devastating for us as we were aiming for an unlawful killing verdict & a chance for the CPS to review the case. We vowed to keep fighting & decided to challenge the decision at high court. We won a permission hearing and we were given a full hearing in Nov 2022 to fight for a new inquest. Today 20th January 2023 we have been given the news that the original ruling at the inquest in Nov 2021 has been quashed and we have now been given a fresh inquest! Sadly as many of you know we do not have the financial security that the others involved in the case have. So we ask our lovely supporters & anyone interested in social injustice to please help us raise funds to keep our legal team going so that we can use this opportunity to achieve justice for Yousef. This will be funding a solicitor, Barrister and a wonderful KC to represent us at the fresh inquest. Please if you can help or share to those that you think can help, we really don't like to ask again for the public's help but without it we will not be able to achieve justice for Yousef finally.
