Lauren's life celebration

On the morning of April 14th 2017, Lauren Flanagan stepped into the presence of Jesus. Lauren loved The Lord with all she was; she also lived an amazing full life! We mourn at the thought of being without her, and that her time with us was way too short. Lauren was a junior at Eagle River High School and lived out an active school life. Being part of the prom court, trainer for the hockey team and striving to start a journalism club were places she thrived in the school community to mention a few! Lauren loved cats, especially Tuxedo, her big black somewhat aloof cat. “Tux” in many ways embodies some of the greatest characteristics of Lauren: Cool and a little distant, engaged but with an intriguing reserve, striking but likely not understood by all. We feel these traits are greatly what made her so amazing. She might not speak for long periods, but then would string together a beautiful sometimes challenging word picture. Lauren loved Disney World, all its magical happiness, writing, but most of all her family and Jesus.
We've established this fund to help offset the expenses for the Flanagan family. Really, this is a way to express our love for them and Lauren. After immediate needs are met, any additional funds will then be used to commemorate Lauren's life through scholarship, mission support, community awareness or as the family feels led to celebrate the amazing gift of Lauren's life and eternity with Christ.
