My baby sister is having a lot of medical issues.  She had thyroid cancer back in 2014, and during a recent exam they discovered a lesion on a nerve in her face.   While examining this new find, they also found two lesions on her brain.  They've been watching the lesions for months now and they recently started growing.  My sister has been through so much testing at four different hospitals and they still don't have definitive answers.  

The Mayo Clinic has agreed to give her an appointment so that they could help figure out what is wrong.  They gave her October 17th and told her she would have to be there 5 to 7 days.   She is a single mom on her own trying to swing all of this, and she could just use some little help to make this trip to the Mayo Clinic happen.  It's a six-hour drive, mom will go with her, but she doesn't have enough time off to get paid from work.  
Need to have hotel room and food during this visit, plus living expenses at home.   Not even sure if she'll have her health insurance in place for October.
