LaToya’s Bridal Makeup Kit Stolen, Please Help

Hi my name is LaToya Santos, the owner of LaToya Santos Beauty, I am a professional bridal makeup artist in Connecticut and have been doing makeup for over 13 years.

Unfortunately during the night of February 29th-March 1, 2025 my car was broken into and along with some personal items, my professional makeup kit was stolen from trunk.

My car was safely at my address in my apartment complex’s garage. I do not know who broke into to my car, but there have been some uninvited individuals trespassing throughout our apartment complex and I believe I was just the unfortunate car that evening.

I am devastated because this means I have no way of completing makeup services needed to earn finances from my business which is my sole source of income.

I am a single mother of a 7 year old son and it has already been a time of struggle for me financially, so this happening really has placed me in a very difficult situation.

I have brides for the upcoming 2025 wedding season who have placed deposits prior that I will be servicing soon, one wedding taking place this June 2025, so I have only a couple of months to rebuild my pro makeup kit.

With my kit I had my lighting panel, plug and attachment, along with my makeup brushes, portable airbrush machine, and all of my makeup itself (eyeshadow palettes, eyeliners, blush’s, bronzers, powders, pencils, lipsticks, lashes etc.)

The kit itself, alongside products valued at over $7,500
