Our dear friend, husband, father, grandfather, volunteer, and awesome instructor, had a skydiving accident Sunday, April 28, 2019. Tommy has 944 jumps, 601 with only one arm.
Tommy was lifted by helicopter to a hospital in Colorado Springs and underwent surgery. He has several broken bones, including his femur, which has been repaired, a cracked pelvis and 5 broken ribs. Tommy also suffered a stroke on Tuesday. He is in pain and still undergoing treatment.
While we do not know how long his hospital stay will be, there will be medical costs above his insurance. Also, travel and other expenses will be needed.
Tommy is strong and a survivor. He will figure out a way to come out on top......... BUT LET'S HELP HIM!
