As a result of catching the first variant of Covid, I suffered kidney failure. This led to a few lengthy hospital stays over the last few years. I'm currently on the kidney transplant list, which has a minimum of a 3-year wait. Medical bills have piled up, and I lost my job last November. I haven't been able to work full-time due to my dialysis schedule and frequent doctor visits.
