Help Laura Find Answers & Relief: A Journey Through Uncertainty

Hi all, I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my best friend, Laura. For the past seven months, Laura has been battling an unknown illness that has left her in constant pain and extreme fatigue. Despite countless visits to doctors, specialists, and the emergency room, no one has been able to provide a clear diagnosis. As a result, her daily life has been significantly impacted in ways she never could have imagined.

The Struggles Laura Faces

If you know Laura, then you know she loves a good laugh, the outdoors - whether it’s a hike or just a trip to the beach, and spending time with her family and friends. But since May 2024, her life has been on hold. She has had to leave her long-time job because the pain and exhaustion make it impossible to keep up with work, and even the things she loves most, like visiting her brother and nieces in New York City, and her annual camping trip with friends.

Despite all of the medical appointments and tests, the cause of her symptoms remains a mystery. Every day is a struggle, and the uncertainty of it all is taking an emotional toll on Laura and her loved ones. We just want her to get better, to be able to live the vibrant life she once had, and to finally find some answers.

How You Can Help

We’re asking for your support to help ease some of Laura's financial burdens during this challenging time. The funds raised will go directly toward:

- Medical bills: Ongoing tests, appointments, and treatments that Laura has already incurred and will continue to face.

- Living expenses: As Laura has been unable to work, the funds will also help her with day-to-day costs— bills, groceries, gas and some much needed repairs for her car— so that she can focus on healing without the constant stress of financial uncertainty.
