Hi! We are Kipp's friends and co-worker's and he is gonna be pissed that we are doing this, but fucking hell–the guy needs a break.

If you know Kipp, Parkside Lounge's sound engineer, you know he is the most generous, caring, hardworking, and fun-loving guy in the music business. He treats every band and performer with respect and care, and he seems to have a never ending supply of kind words and optimism.

Kipp has been battling a bunch of health issues over the last few years and just found out he has the big C. We aren't going to get into too many details because that is for him to share, but the bottom line is that he is not going to be able to work as much during treatment. He has spent his life supporting artists and musicians that are on the fringe - because that is where the magic is - but the fringe doesn't have as many safety nets: pension funds, benefits, etc... but what we do have is the collective power of a community who can all chip in a few bucks and make a mountain of difference in Kipp's life for the next few years.

Of course we know Kipp would much prefer to be the person doing the helping rather than the one being helped, but the time has come for us to show up for him.

We love you, Kipp. Let's rock and roll and kick cancer's ass together.
