Hello everyone , Kimber is about to begin a year long chemotherapy Maintenance trial based out of Columbus Ohio . Kimber has been through cancer twice (Ewing’s sarcoma) and has had many struggles with her leg as a result of her bone cancer . 

Relapsed Ewing’s sarcoma is extremely aggressive and although Kimber has completed almost a year of aggressive chemotherapy and radiation it is important that we continue on Maintenance treatment . (Maintenance chemotherapy is a cancer treatment intended to sustain the effects of prior therapy. It often uses a gentler chemotherapy drug than initial treatment. This helps achieve its goals of sustaining quality of life and controlling tumor growth.)

We are hopeful about this new therapy but it is coming at a big cost to our family . 

Over the next year we are expected to visit Columbus Ohio once a month . We have a social worker helping us with help with flights in the future but those kind of grants only cover one parent and and the child who is sick . This is fine but that leaves dad and Vada without a babysitter so we still need to be able to afford that . This also dose not cover feeding the people who are away from home . 

We have at least another year of treatment left , we are humbly asking for your support while we carry our family through this new chapter in our journey .
