Kidney Hope

Hello, my name is Jonathan Barrientez I am 37 years old and am a resident of Amarillo, Texas. I am a single parent to a 10 year old little girl whom I adore and inspires me to reach higher everyday. I am also completely blind but, still have maintained independence thus far. Unfortunately, in late April of 2021 I was diagnosed with Stage 5 Chronic Kidney disease and the following November I was put on dialysis. However, focusing on the positive side of things there is a possibility of receiving a kidney transplant. Although, with a transplant it comes with costs that I myself cannot cover on my own. The costs will cover necessities such as medication which can cost up to 2,000 a month, and unfortunately has to be taken for the remainder of my life, it covers the cost of having to stay on location for 4-6 weeks in either San Antonio or Dallas as I recover, and also the costs of everyday necessities to maintain life as well as I can. I know through these financially dire times donating may be out of the realm of possibility for so many, I would gladly and gratefully accept your thoughts and pryers.
