Kicking the C out of Cancer!

Hi, I’m Kelly and I am raising funds for my daughter Kacey who has been diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma. I would love to be able to treat her while she is going through this horrific time. Bills are high, her cravings are crazy, we are trying to renovate the shed into a cozy cabin for her to rest and recover. We will be needing wigs & eyebrows, plus a new wardrobe as she has lost so much weight, nothing fits this winter. Lotions, potions and additional medicines are much needed too. If I could take any of this pain and suffering away, I would, but I can’t, so this is the least I can do for you Kacey. x

The story so far…

How did we get to this point…

On the 23rd of October 2024 Kacey was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin’s lymphoma, before this she had previously been to the doctors a year prior due to having severe bone pain in her hip, she was dismissed by the doctors and told it was probably sciatica and given pain medication, she was then continuously ill from the end of June to the beginning of august where she found a large lump on her neck she again went to the doctors but was dismissed as a chest infection and then glandular fever, and just given antibiotics, when the lump didn’t go down and further symptoms started to present themselves she went back to the doctors and was urged to have a blood test immediately, the next day she was told she had a serious blood disease and needed to go to a&e immediately. After countless blood tests, ct scans, pet-scans and a biopsy on the lump on her neck, we eventually received the diagnosis. After being referred to the macmillan centre we later found out she had been living with stage 4 cancer for over a year as her hip pain was due to a tumour on her left femur. As it had gone untreated for so long Kacey unfortunately has tumours throughout her whole body including her heart and diaphragm which makes day to day living very difficult with extreme fatigue and breathlessness. I want to raise awareness for young people experiencing symptoms such as fatigue, night sweats, weight loss, itching with no rash, loss of appetite and any pain that has no cause to not be dismissed by doctors.We feel
