Hello all!
I'd like to share how my dad is doing and what has been new with his journey to healing! At this time he is doing well, he has decided to go with treatment at the cancer centers of America in Philly. He has just finished his first round of a chemo pill for kidney cancer! He has tolerated it well overall but is very tired. They are keeping an eye on his kidney function and side effects of this powerful pill. I'm so proud of all his changes and how well he's been doing with these health changes, and keeping his spirits up. At this time he has expenses for his medications, vitamins they've had him on, travel, scans frequently and tests as he has a very aggressive (into stage 4) kidney cancer. At the time of diagnosis I thought as soon as they took The kidney things would go back to normal he would be okay! But God had other plans and it has definitely been a journey - all of your prayers and support have been amazing! We wouldn't have made it through this without all of you and our friends and family we wouldn't have gotten through it.
At this time I'm leaving this account up for a short while longer if you would like to add anything to my dads funds. The bills are coming in for the procedures he had done/will need, hospital stays, now traveling expenses for procedures and test, and lastly the fact that he will not be returning to work is a large financial burden for my parents. If you know my dad you know work is his main role in life. He values hard work and always supporting the ones he loves and even strangers if he doesn't know you he'll help them out too lol! I'd like to raise $2500 just to get him some help towards the medical needs he has now and in the future. To help him continue to get whatever he needs and keep a roof over their heads!
