Kelli Stieglitz's Fight Against Cancer

On Friday, June 18th while on a girls trip in Austin, TX, Kelli experienced a great amount of chest pain that sent her to the nearest Urgent Care where she received a chest X-ray. Her results alarmed the doctors, so she was immediately referred to the ER for a CT scan.

After further examination, a large tumor encasing Kelli’s aorta was found. Kelli flew home to Indianapolis, Indiana where she met with an Oncologist and underwent a core needle biopsy procedure, which ultimately led to her diagnosis - Primary Mediastinal Large B-Cell Lymphoma.

Kelli will officially start treatment on Monday, July 12th, which will consist of a 3-week treatment cycle that will last a minimum of 6 months. If the chemotherapy effectively eliminates the tumor & her bone marrow is not impacted, her long term prognosis is good. The road to recovery is going to be long and life changing.

Being that fighting cancer will be her full time job for the next 6 months - 1 year, we are asking her community to come together to help alleviate the financial burden that will ensue. If you’re not in a place to give financially, please keep her in your thoughts & prayers!
