Keep the Lights On for the Pittman Family

Thank you for your time and kindness. We are the Pittman family, and we continue to have a difficult time financially.

Jason continues to work hard to try to keep us going, but the anxiety and stress of everything has him nearly at a breaking point emotionally let alone financially.

Diana has been working hard to find new employment, but after nearly 2 years now, full-time work has been difficult to find. She was terminated from her previous job with no warning, just before they planned on doing layoffs.

Our previous effort here did not even get us enough for one month's mortgage payment, so we felt we should try again. Our savings are basically gone, and we don't have any access to pull from any of our retirement savings.

You may know us from our efforts with Pacific NW Christmas Lights online holiday maps and social media. We have run those efforts at a loss for over 10 years now, and this project may be in jeopardy as part of our financial difficulties. We love bringing this project to the community, and we hope the community can help us personally so we can continue to bring it to them at the same level we have done in years past.

Our monthly bills are getting selectively paid, but not in full. We have a 'working budget' we can live and survive on, but with the extra bills from home repairs and unexpected medical expenses, and built-up debt from those and other personal expenses, the budget is not fully functional but would be if those debts were resolved. We are doing everything we can at this point to avoid bankruptcy or defaulting on things. We have multiple medical things that need to be done, but have put them on hold due to the extra financial burden it will bring.

We had to do $2,000 in plumbing work to fix leaks and bring our home back to code, as well as additional home repairs which include replacing a necessary appliance.

We know things are tough for a lot of people, and we're just trying to survive, be healthy, and keep the lights on. If you can only help once, that is appreciated. If you can donate monthly for a while, that is also greatly appreciated. Any help is truly appreciated.
