Hi friends!

My name is Britty Daniels and for the past 16 years, I have been the director of Harvest House Dance Studio. I was born and raised here in Boone, and I have a passion for teaching the art and beauty of dance. It’s been a dream of mine to build a dance studio that has a counter cultural message: that a studio can be more than just a place to dance; it is a family, a home, a space where our kids can express themselves, build confidence, grow relationships, and find joy through movement.

Recently, we faced some unexpected challenges that meant we had to leave our longtime studio space. It’s been a difficult and emotional transition — one we didn’t see coming.

But now, we’re choosing to see this as an opportunity to reinvent ourselves, a moment to lean into our core identity as a studio since it’s founding! That’s why I’m so excited to introduce The Boone Dance Trove… it’s a new name for the same studio that truly captures what we believe in — that every dancer here is like a treasure. The word “Trove” literally means a store or collection of delightful, valuable things, and that’s exactly how we see these kids! Each one is a unique and special gift, bringing their own light and creativity to our community.

We’ve found a new space at Deer Valley Athletic Club that has so much potential to become an amazing new home for our dancers and teachers — it just needs a little love (and a lot of renovation!) before we can move in.

So we have decided to launch a campaign to help fund some goals that will get The Boone Dance Trove off to an incredible start in 2026! We have a large list of renovations we are planning that includes updating the doors, electrical, lighting, sound, floors, and walls of our room. We also need to purchase essential equipment such as a sound system, light fixtures, acoustic treatment, paint, and updating our merchandise to include our new name— all the essentials to create a warm, welcoming, and inspiring space for our dancers. Any support you can give will go directly to helping us keep this dream alive for the current and future young dancers of our beautiful mountain town.
