Keep Lisa, Terry, and River Safe with Car Repairs

We're still in need of help to keep the car roadworthy.

My friend is 70, on a fixed income and challenged. I provide car service for her because she is vulnerable and could be in danger walking or taking other transportation.

My car is essential to her well being and mine. I need a working vehicle to get to my job as well.

I drive Terry to her doctor's appointments, shopping, and other errands.

Getting around where I live is very tricky, almost impossible, especially if you have heat-sensitivity and mobility issues, which we both suffer from.

The road from my house to town is disastrous, so walking it isn't safe.

My brakes on my car went out going down the hill to town Sunday, and I saw my life flash before my eyes. Luckily, I got safely to a side road.

The car needs repairs during a time in the year when I don't get a paycheck. I saved enough money to pay my rent and bills, but wasn't ready for major car repairs.

Unfortunately, I have a condition that makes it essentially deadly if I'm stuck in the heat.

My friend Terry and I both have mobility issues. Driving is an essential part of being able to get to work and remain independent. If I can't drive, we BOTH lose the safety and sense of independence I offer as a trusted driver.

(Neither one of us has family or spouses to support us. We are relying on ourselves.)

So, I'm here to ask for help. The funds would cover the car repairs.
