My name is Magan, and I am the owner of Chez Torrez, a small French-inspired café built from the ground up with love, grit, and every ounce of strength I’ve had these last few years. My husband, Chef Pablo, and I have poured our hearts, our savings, and our dreams into creating a place where people could feel at home — a place filled with good food, warmth, and community.

But the truth is: we are at a breaking point.

Between my ongoing medical challenges and the unexpected disaster that was not covered by insurance, we’ve run out of safety nets. Sales continue to grow, and our community support has been incredible, but it’s still not enough to bridge the gap before bills come due.

We are raising funds to keep Chez Torrez alive long enough to stabilize — to cover critical expenses, survive this “growing” season, and continue building the café that so many people here in Yakima have come to love. This café is more than a business. It’s our livelihood, our creative home, and the dream we fought to make real.
