Keely Nguyen's Medical Internship

Hello everyone! My name is Keely Nguyen and I am a rising senior at the Alabama Christian Academy. Even as a child, I have aspired to go into the medical field. With my family's support, I have pursued this dream and have been fortunate enough to go on countless adventures. Starting off my high school career, I attended my first medical camp at Johns Hopkin University—one of the most prestigious medical schools in the entire world! This past summer, I was able to attend another medical congress, but this one at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell. The National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Scientists has helped spark an even greater fire in my heart for medicine. Through this congress, I have been given the opportunity to attend a surgical internship in India—only 250 out of 9000 applicants were chosen! Here, I will be personally mentored by surgeons and work hands on with patients in and out of the operating room. With your support, I will embark on my first trip overseas on June 8, 2017! I would be incredibly grateful to anyone who is willing to donate to my medical mission.
