Prior to coming on the World Race, many people asked how they could donate to me personally and I always told them that I had everything figured out. In all honesty, I didn't.
Lately God is teaching me about pride and humility. He is teaching me to rely of Him and not be afraid to ask for help from others. In a message prior to my 40 Day Food Fast, He told me "Kayce you won't survive the world alone. You will be defeated. But I have claimed victory."
After visiting me in a dream last night I was reminded of His victory. I have been stressing lately about paying bills while I am on the Race. I have someone who I am borrowing money from to cover my deficits to pay insurances, health insurance costs, and storage unit bills. Life doesn't just stop because God calls you on a year long mission trip.
So this is me, raw, real... I am at a $800 deficit each month for bills that I can't magically make go away. I currently owe $2,400 to the individual covering this deficit and by the end of the Race I will owe $8,800. I told my Squad about my financial situation and the pride I feel in wanting to handle it on my own, but also the humility God is pressing deep into my heart to ask for help. They suggested I create a GoFundMe and give it to God.
