Dear Friends -
Kath Sweeney is my daughter Erin's Mother-in-Law. Kath was diagnosed with Breast Cancer approximately four years ago. She completed her treatment and worked part time through it all. She then went back to work full time.
After several months of pain and trips to doctors she was told on Thursday Oct.25th that the cancer had returned and had metastasized to her bones. She learned it was stage 4.
Kath has had to stop working and started treatment on Tuesday October 30th. There is no time to waste. Kath hopes to go to the Mayo Clinic in Arizona for treatment, but must get stronger in order to do that.
My hope in starting this go fund me page is to raise enough money for her not to worry about her living expenses and focus on getting treatment and recovering. The monies would also be used to help fund her trip to the Mayo Clinic.
For all of us who have been touched by cancer I am asking for a donation for Kath. She is a wonderful person and needs our support.
