Karla's Service Trip to Bolivia

My name is Karla Infante and I am a first-year student at the George Washington University. I am pursuing a major in International Affairs. My two passions are traveling and helping others. As a high school student, I volunteered in three separate occasions in an orphanage and local in Ile-a-Vache, Haiti. It was a rewarding experience and I am lucky enough to have this opportunity again to work with children in need.
This upcoming summer, I have the opportunity to travel to Cochabamba, Bolivia with A Breeze of Hope Foundation to help local communities for two weeks. I will be tutoring elementary school children and I will provide emotional support to children and adolescent survivors of sexual violence through a range of activities including yoga, dance, and art. Finally, I will be working on home renovation projects to improve the quality of life for many families.
This trip will take place between May 15-29,2017. The cost for the trip is $2,500, including airfare, transportation, tourism, and room and board. My goal is to raise $2,000 for this trip by May 1, 2017. Any donation is greatly appreciated! 
I am very excited to explore a new country and work with children who need social-emotional support. I am eager to make the children feel safe and happy. Please help me bring happiness to the kids who do not have the same luxuries as we are so fortunate to have.
