Kari’s Legacy - Freya and Denfield

My daring, compassionate, kind, artistic cousin Kari died tragically and suddenly September 12th, 2018 leaving behind two beautiful children, Freya, Age 8 and her son Denfield, Age 14.
This fundraiser is for her children. A small nest egg to get them through the next few very tough years. To pay for clothing, food, transportation, housing and expensive U.S. immigration fees. My hope is we raise the money within the next two weeks.
Those of you who knew Kari loved her for her boundless energy, her kindness, beautiful soul and amazing artistic photos.
She, her life partner David and the children are in southern Belize.
Kari had the hugest heart, working for non-profit children’s homes, and it was there she met her son Denfield who is profoundly deaf due to Meningitis at age 10 months old and has special schooling needs.
She adopted him into their household, raising him as her son. Kari devoted her life to helping others, teaching and nurturing.
David is about to go through an arduous process of applying for the official adoption of Denfield and U.S. immigration for both Freya and Denfield.
The current financial situation of Freya and Denfield is dire. Please give what you can, every little bit will assist these gorgeous kiddos!
