I am seeking finanical support to walk 500 -550 mile Camino Frances starting in St. Jean Pied de Port, France and ending up near the Portugal border of Spain at Santiago De Compostela. Averaging 15 miles a day for 30-35 days. Inspired by St Francis of Assisi who walked this same trail in 1213.
From mid September through mid October of this year. Only a few months away.
As many pilgrims before me; there are many reasons to walk. Mine is representing "World Peace. Universal Love." My practice has already started. Doing this walk alone, I am daily dancing with confidence and excitement side by side with the discomfort of the unknown and overcoming self doubt.
By first finding peace through eliminating self defeating fear, and expressing love authentically, perhaps this journey will be inspired to do the same.
It was Margaret Mead who observed; "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."
