Help with House Fire

Our house caught on fire on October 22, 2022. The fire originated on the outside of the house but then quickly spread to the inside of the house. While the firefighters were on their way, we were very grateful to have neighbors who assisted with putting out the fire outside, but they could not stop it once it started spreading inside. Unfortunately, when they arrived, a lot of damage was already done, and our house is currently inhabitable.

Thankfully, my dad could get out of the house as he noticed the fire on the side of the house through the window, and my mom wasn't home then, and I was at work.

This year has been rough. Two weeks before this incident, my mom was admitted into ICU with a heart attack and then back in April, my dad was also admitted into the emergency room.

The funds we receive will assist us with housing, food, and basic needs while waiting to hear back from our insurance, as we do not have "Loss of Use" coverage.
