K. Benford’s Blueberries

My name is Keyna Benford and I am a seasoned educator coming back to the classroom to continue making an impact on the children in my community.

As a proud English teacher at Leland High School, I’m committed to creating a classroom environment where every “blueberry”, as I lovingly call them, feels valued, supported, and inspired to learn. Many of my students face challenges that extend far beyond academics, and I want to ensure they have access to the resources they need to succeed both in school and in life.

I’m raising funds to help provide:

• Gift card incentives to motivate and reward student effort and mastery of standards

• Books for our classroom library to ignite a love for reading

• Personal hygiene products for students in need

• Snacks to keep students focused and energized

• Other essential classroom supplies
